If you look back, even through the Old Testament
You see that God's grace was there
You see a man like David; and he knew it
He saw himself for what he was
He saw his sin
He knew that the only way he was gonna be saved was because of God's love
Cause He was merciful
Jesus not only came proclaiming this grace to us
But He lived a life in perfect surrender to God's will
To His Father's will
He gave up His rights, any control, any power
He said what we all, at one point, are gonna have to say
Not my will, but Yours be done
You can either say it now, or you can say it later
But your gonna have to say it sometime
So you might as well say it now
Jesus came and He was the perfect example of submission to the Father
He came not only proclaiming God's grace
But in His death, He crushed death and sin
And it's a mystery that I don't understand
But He said sin and death are no longer gonna have a hold on my people
No longer gonna have a hold on the ones that I created
Death no longer matters
