coming out of their shells

I have previously talked about this... but i will talk about it again and again and in detail...

Growing up I was a Ninja Turtle... I was Michaelangelo... I ate pizza.. I had a skateboard... I said cowabunga... I practiced my turtle kicks on my trampoline... I wanted to live in the sewers with a rat named Splinter... I wanted green ooze so I made my own batch of it... I hand crafted my own turtle belts... I had a turtlecomm.. I had tons of action figures... I had the turtle van... I went to florida and meet the turtles... got their autographs... Being the uber-movie geek that I am... My first memory of standing in line for the opening night of a movie was to go see the first movie... I remember the long being sooooooo long and being worried that I wasn't gonna be able to get in... I remember getting the movie action figures and thinking they were so cool because their heads, arms, and legs were this sweet jiggly substance that you could bend but they would always go back... I owned their live action musical "Coming out of their Shells"... Yes the ninja turtles as rock stars playing instuments singing and dancing... and I still have the actual "coming out of their shells" soundtrack on cassette... it's sweet...

time has passed since those golden years... i never really got into the new ninja turtles cartoon... but i'm sure if i had them on dvd... i would watch every single episode...

so, today i found out that my childhood love, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT to the real fans), are finally coming back to the silver screen... but... they are gonna be in CGI? i am kinda leery about it... but i find satisfaction in knowing that the creator is highly involved...
