so i debated on which christmas record i'd get this year... i must admit i was leaning towards going with an older artist... elvis... johnny cash... dean martin... ya know artists who made christmas records when christmas records were classy... now christmas records are what artists do in between their major releases... anyway... that was the plan until i heard a little song called "it really is (a wonderful life)"... it's by a little known artist named mindy smith... I haven't heard any of her non-christmas stuff but her album "my holiday" is a solid christmas record...

says the guy who listens to AC/DC and Rage Against the Machine and likes to pretend that they are these hip indie bands that no one listens to...
