so IU basketball officially starts tomorrow at noon with it's first exhibition game. And because the Big Ten Network and Comcast haven't decided to grow up and give the people what they want I will have to leave my house to watch at least 17 of the games... So if anybody wants to have a hot date on game night, give me a shout-out...
other thoughts on basketball...
they were stinkin' phone calls. get over it. i feel bad for the fall guy... he really is a loss for IU, he was the main recruiter on all of the big New York recruits... it wolud be sweet if IPFW steals him...
ummm michigan state (the so-called Big Ten leader) lost to a Grand Valley State (a division 2 school) in an exhibition game... ummm yeah... over-rated much?
I am for sure rooting for IPFW (Dane Fife's team) this year... i believe this is their first year in a conference and an actual shot at making the tourney outside of an at-large bid... keep in mind this is a pipe dream considering they went 12-17 last year... but that's a lot better than the 3-25 in the 2003-2004 season...
