so i just watched a new rad documentary with my niece... it's called "Danielson: a Family movie {or, Make a Joyful Noise HERE}". Yes, that's the full title.
anyway, i am gonna promote this on 2 levels...
1. if you like documentaries about eccentric people, this is a grade A doc. Daniel Smith is one of those genius/artistic people who is brilliantly creepy...he is an incredible artist in every sense of the word... (music, sculpting, painting, etc.)... but listening to him explain how God / the Holy Spirit puts his music together is very creepy to say the least...
2. For those of you cool indie kids who watch the O.C. for good music tips, Sufjan Stevens is in this film a lot. Daniel Smith is kind of his mentor. soooo if you are a fan of Sufjan, check this mother out...
