So in case you didn't know, I am in the knoxville...
my friends joel and josh came down with me to go to some of our friend's graduation... on the way down we went about 100 miles in the wrong direction... it was not cool, but it builds character and will forever be a good story... mainly because the 2 other guys in the car went to school at the very place we were headed... however we did make it here just in time for the graduation... thanks to my awesome driving skills...
shortly after graduation, Josh disappeared into the sunset, and we haven't heard from him since. he was supposed to stay a few extra days with us and ride back. but word on the street is that he already headed back with someone else. he hasn't returned phonecalls or text messages. soooo not cool... I guess he will call whenever he starts to miss his iPod and books of poetry, and his shoes and shirt...
so far we've made 3 late night stops at taco bell, and had lunch at the glorious waffle house, where the waiter did jumping jacks for us... can you smell the awesome?
we are staying at my good friends, ryan and lynn's new radical town house... their bed is comfy and their couch is awesome... it's pretty much all awesome... but those are the places that i've spent the most time...
i went to the most awesome bookstore ever... two days in a row... i traded in a lot of my used DVD's, CD's, and VHS tapes... I got about $145 in cash and credit... I bought some sweet books and some awesome DVD's... go and buy Anne Lamott's "traveling mercies", and your life will be complete... it's a bit offensive, but totally awesome...
we have hung out a lot with danielliott... last night she brought over guitar hero... to which i intially sucked... then about 2:30 on the AM I hit a stride of awesomeness...
I am completely out of daytime minutes (on my cell)...
joel and i have acted like an old couple pretty much the whole time... it's been pretty funny/sad... if you don't believe call and listen to my new voicemail...
i went and saw blades of glory last night with Joel and Kim Hanze... it was alright... not the best will ferrell movie... in fact probably my least favorite... however it was still pretty funny...
tomorrow morning we leave... say a little prayer that we don't get lost along the way...
