:-P "Tongue of Joy" :-P "Mean Tongue"

a few weeks back my pal joel and I were waiting for our pal Josh at the church. 5 year old Katherine (one of the coolest kids in the world, sister to Nic) was playing in the Nursery by herself... so Joel and I went in to keep her company... In the midst of playing around she stuck her tongue out at me... And I replied "Katherine, why did you do that?" She went on to explain to me that tongue that she stuck out at me was a "tongue of joy"... she went on to explain to me that there are 2 types of tongues... there's a "tongue of joy" and a "mean tongue"... But each time she said either one she stuck her tongue out... she must had did it like 8 times... she'd go :-P "Tongue of Joy" :-P "Mean Tongue" :-P "Tongue of Joy" :-P "Mean Tongue" 8 times in a row... Each time the tongue changed in know way whatsoever... it was really just how she felt inside... it was very amusing... maybe you just had to be there...

Anyway, today as I sat and contemplated my latest purchase, a super sweet guitar cord that plugs directly into my iMac, I thought of some of the little things in life that bring me joy... i was thinking about how amazing the past few days have been... I was thinking about this morning's "the breakfast club" (a monthly devo I lead at 6:40 in the morning at Burger King for some cool high schoolers) and for some reason that random memory popped into my head... I think if I were to stick my tongue out today it would be a "Tongue of Joy"... Things may look the same but it's really just how i feel inside...
