so this weekend was a pretty crazy fun action packed weekend...
joel and i got to cincy in time to go to a reds game... which was rad because it was my first major league baseball game ever... so that's kinda cool...
then on saturday, joel, josh, jeremy, kim and I went to the zoo and saw the PANGuins.... they were radical... i think they are becoming one of my favorite animals...
then we rushed back to take part in www.invisiblechildren.com 's Global Night Commute... To help raise awareness for the ongoing war in Uganda... 58,754 people all over the world participated in this event... Basically what we did was to march into downtown cincy (approx. 3-4 miles) and slept in the streets for the night... Only it was pouring down rain... So after attempting to stay dry with some trash bags, 8 of us decided to take refuge under some strategically placed tables... we were close... really close... too close... Joel got a little too friendly with me... but it was in the name of staying dry and warm...
under the tables it was josh, mark, joel, me, jeremy, becky, heather, and kim... we were all facing each other so it was easy to talk to each other and wink inappropriately at jeremy... before that night i had never met mark, becky or heather... but by the end of the night i knew that becky's mom has 9 kids and heather ended up tackling me to the ground... it was quite the experience... i think heather is seriously one of the funniest people i have ever met... "BAD PEOPLE!" "WHAT'S GOING ON?" good times... good times... i don't think i will ever forget that night... i don't think i have ever heard kim laugh that hard... ever...
sunday we got back around 6:30 or 7... i really don't know what time it was... that's just a guess.... and we slept till 1, cleaned up and then went to CiCi's for breakfast/lunch/dinner... it was a rad weekend....
