so as you may recall... i have a fish... who originally named "dead is six weeks" later changed to "drop dead fred" and currently going under the alias "freddy fredrickson" (after the lounge singer in "that thing you do"... N-E-WAYS... he had been living in a little cramped up tank, and a few weeks ago i went all out for him and got a giant 10 gallon tank, a tree stump, and a bunch on aqua rocks... freddy is quite the extraordinary fish... he has a few tricks he can do... you might be asking yourself "fish do tricks? what?" and i respond "freddy fredrickson was born a star." Freddy can play dead and roll over... it's a little weird, i know, but he's rad...
so last week and this week i bought freddy some friends, one has already passed on. his name was mars (he was a platy fish)... the others are jupiter (platy; sister of mars), treebeard (algae eater who hides in my tree trunk thingy), volta (platy; named after mars/mars volta; brother to nine), nine (named after volta; nine and volta, get it?) (, and contra (upsidedown catfish, named after the word contra which means "against").
