so a few weeks back, besty blue eyes (my iPod photo) died on me... just stopped working... i didn't write about it on here, because quite frankly it upset me dearly... so about 2 weeks ago i spent a whole day working on bring it back to life, plugged it into my mac, plugged it into my wall, plugged it into a different wall, tried to reset it, tried to reboot it, used a different usb cord, tried to return it to walmart, tried to return it to the apple online store... NOTHING WORKED, i repeat nothing! so today i drove up to the only apple store in the state of indiana (approx. a 6 hour round trip because i always get lost)... i walk it into the store and the tech guy takes it, plugs it into his mac and it starts right up, like nothing is wrong... i was so frustrated... the guy said that every once in a while it just needs to rest (what is it, a dog?)... i am glad that i don't have to put everything back onto a new one, but i wish it would have taken a few less hours out of my life... so from now on i will refer to ol' betsy blue eyes as lazarus...
so on the way home from the apple store i was looking in the mirror at my glorious mop of hair... and i saw what no one wants to see... A GRAY HAIR!!! I about had a heart attack and died... but somehow i survived... i do not want to get old... at the risk of sounding like Michael Jackson, i want to be like Peter Pan and the lost boys (two of whom are ironically named Michael and John) and never grow old... so from now on my blog is to be called "the chronicles of a lost boy"...
fare thee well...
