freedom comes when you let it go

i choose freedom
free from the expectations of a broken, corrupt world and the inhabitants within.
free from the judgment of lost and heart-hardened generation.
free from "who i am" or what i like to think i am.
in a world where holy recklessness is looked down upon,
i choose it to be the very source of "who i am".
i choose it to dwell in the very marrow of my being, to shake the very existence of all i think i know.
i choose to let go in hopes that i will get a better grip on what or who i need to be.
i am free from the grudges i have held.
free from the wrongs i've done, and the wrongs done to me.
i am dangerous.
i am afraid of where this may lead me.
i am a new creation.
everything is upside down, inside out.
the weak, strong
the losers, winners
"the lost", found
the hopeless, hopeful
I am, are not
sound, unsound

the fallen shall rise to a higher glory than they imagined
the weak prevail over the depths of darkness they have wallowed
and all you who fall short find, refuge in the dangerous king
