Of thinking or doing
Some people are too cool to grow
Too cool to change
Too cool to experience life
Too cool to live outside of what they know
Some people have callused hearts
Some people can't feel
Don't feel
Won't feel
Some people are complacent where they are
Some people tolerate what they hate
They sit and take it
Then they run and complain
Some people never learn
Some people never change
Some people are dying
Some people make me sick

But as for me
I will take the open range
I will take the tricky trail
My lows will make the highs seem higher
And living will be worth each step
I will always be a sellout
I will not be chained to one way
I will head towards one goal
I will fall
I will stand up
And that will make me victorious
I will never sell myself short of being, breathing
Experiencing all that is good
I will never cheat myself of living
Because what is life if you do not live it?

Open me up
I will dig deeper
I will climb higher
I will breath even if it hurts
